Forza Horizon 6 — Active bugs at launch — what’s broken, what’s fixed
The current list of Forza Horizon 6 active bugs is short but visible, with the launch-day megathread on Reddit converging on three issues: PS5-controller-on-PC input problems, a wheelspin level-up animation lockup, and intermittent barn find marker glitches.
What’s broken right now
- PS5 controller on PC: button mapping inconsistencies and rumble drop-outs when using DualSense over USB or Bluetooth. Workaround: switch to Xbox controller layout in input settings, or use Steam Input.
- Wheelspin level-up animation: when a wheelspin is triggered by leveling up, the result can stall on the spinning animation. Workaround: alt-tab or back out to the main menu — the reward is still credited.
- Barn find markers: barn find pins occasionally fail to refresh after a fast travel. Workaround: drive a short distance away and back, or restart the session.
What’s already fixed
Playground’s Day-1 hotfix addressed pre-launch issues around save sync and Steam achievement tracking. The Day-1 patch is mandatory on all platforms.
Why it matters
For a launch this large, the active list is unusually short — none of the three issues block progression. Most affect convenience rather than core play. The full official bug tracker and the latest workarounds live in the bugs and fixes hub, updated as patches land.
